How I got my body back…:-)
Hi, my name is Susan Jackson. I’m a 25 year old mother of 4-year-old twins and, let me tell you, I love ‘em lots, but they’re a handful!
Before I was blessed with my children, I used to keep fit by swimming, jogging and regular gym exercise but, as I’m sure you know if you’re a parent, babies take a LOT of looking after and take a LOT of time and effort and my exercise ground to a halt. I wasn’t eating as well as I should have been, and my weight ballooned.
Now that the kids are at school and I have more time, I thought that I’d try to get my weight back to my pre-babies level, but I found it so difficult! I can’t take as much physical exercise as I used to so a diet looked like the best idea, and I tried all kinds of things. Atkins worked, but made me feel tired all the time, I tried South Beach, but found it hard to keep the weight off (I kept confusing my good and bad carbs and fats…), the Bikini Detox was good, and I felt quite good afterward, but again I struggled to keep the weight off because I kept snacking on the wrong foods. I guess my willpower isn’t what it was. Money’s a little tight too, so I couldn’t afford a gym membership. I had a chat with my friend and we both decided to shed those pounds!
So what we did was hunt around for something that would help us get into shape without starving ourselves, and an exercise routine that we could do at home, wouldn’t cost a lot of money and wouldn’t kill us
!
I’ve also included some information about anti aging. My Mom is 50 this year, and she was hating it..It’s not so much her age, but more the way she looked, she used to smoke quite a lot and spend time in the sun and it’s taken it’s toll on her skin. Then she tried a new treatment and she looks 10 years younger! Her wrinkles have almost vanished and she feels better than she has for a looong time.
